A proud history

In 1987, John Seymour and Garry Whyte started a small civil construction company in Queensland. More than three decades on, the company they founded has grown exponentially. This is in no small part thanks to the way our smarter partnerships shape the quality of every project we undertake, of our clients’ experiences with us, and of the way we respond to business opportunities.

In October 2017, Seymour Whyte joined VINCI – a global player in integrated concessions and construction. Together with VINCI, we have enhanced our already competitive positioning and strong local reputation, and created greater opportunities for our partners.

Today, we are a multi award-winning civil contractor that delivers major essential infrastructure across Australia. With offices in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Western Australia, we have delivered more than 500 projects.
