Seymour Whyte in a joint venture with BMD will deliver the landside civil and building works package for Western Sydney International Airport which will open in 2026. The project scope involves the construction of:

• roads, bridges, footpaths and cycleways and their connections to external roads and car parks
• connections to external utilities
• landside infrastructure and facilities.

Landside infrastructure and facilities comprise of:

• ancillary facilities and aviation support
• ground transport facilities
• reticulated water, recycled water, wastewater and gas networks (LV power)
• enabling infrastructure within the site for HV power and the integrated communications network, which includes fibre optic cable backbone
• systems including audio visual monitors, building management, electronic security, network and telecommunications, and parking management  (enabling work only)
• landscaping
• wayfinding
• earthworks.
