About
Seymour Whyte in a joint venture with BMD will deliver the landside civil and building works package for Western Sydney International Airport which will open in 2026. The project scope involves the construction of:
- roads, bridges, footpaths and cycleways and their connections to external roads and car parks
- connections to external utilities
- landside infrastructure and facilities.
Landside infrastructure and facilities comprise of:
- ancillary facilities and aviation support
- ground transport facilities
- reticulated water, recycled water, wastewater and gas networks (LV power)
- enabling infrastructure within the site for HV power and the integrated communications network, which includes fibre optic cable backbone
- systems including audio visual monitors, building management, electronic security, network and telecommunications, and parking management (enabling work only)
- landscaping
- wayfinding
- earthworks.
